You have to meet Joe to understand how sweet and lovable this guy really, really is! His family lost their home and he and his sister and a small doxie were left at the shelter to die.. it was a very ,very sad situation and Joe was so totally bonded to those other girls. But, we never could find a home for all of them and had to split them up. He has adjusted but is lonely for a home of his own and a family of his own! We believe him to be a Jack Russel Terrier x Blue Heeler Blend. His coat is very short and slick! He is a nice, lovable sm/med dog, house trained, crate trained, leash trained! He's been kenneled awhile so would need small refresher courses, of course, but he is a super, super smart boy and loves to please so he would catch right back on. He Loves kids but a little rough around the edges for toddlers. A WONDERFUL Country dog, Joe HATES to be locked in a kennel AWAY from his home or family!! He is a real family man and stays home great, but hates to be locked up away from his people. A very sad story that made him homeless and he was at the door of the Euth. room when we rescued him!
